Team managers and field supervisors
Make a check-in useful before it becomes overdue
A check-in is most useful when the worker knows when to send it, the supervisor knows what a missing one means, and both can tell whether the action reached the workspace. EAlert365 gives workers a check-in flow and gives managers a view of team status.
The operational problem
A timestamp alone is not a response plan
Set the expected interval around actual work: a shift start, a solo visit, or a high-risk task. Choose who watches the status and how they will follow up. The app can record check-ins, comments and location information where available; it also distinguishes a locally queued offline action from one confirmed by the server. That distinction matters when a manager is deciding whether to contact someone.
A practical rollout
How to put this workflow to work
- 1
Agree on a schedule
Tell workers exactly which activity requires a check-in and which manager will review exceptions.
- 2
Try the normal path
Have a worker submit a check-in and confirm that the correct workspace and supervisor view reflect it.
- 3
Try the failure path
Test poor connectivity, an overdue response and a supervisor follow-up before using the process on a live shift.
What to check
How to read an offline message
The interface can save an offline check-in on the device for retry. It should be treated as pending until the server confirms persistence. Workers should use their agreed backup communication channel if a safety-critical check-in remains pending. Managers should not interpret a device-side queue as proof of safety.
Common questions
Before your team relies on it
Can a check-in be submitted without a network connection?
The app has an offline queue for check-ins. Delivery is pending until connectivity returns and the server confirms the action.
Is every check-in an emergency alert?
No. A routine check-in records status; the SOS path is available for a worker who needs urgent help.
